Visitor Identification:
For each visitor to our website, our server automatically recognizes the consumer’s domain names. We use cookies to store visitors preferences, record session information (such as items that consumers add to their shopping basket), record part activity at the site in order to provide better service when visitors return to the site, and to customize (when appropriate) web page content based on visitor’s browser type of other information that the visitor sends.
This information is used for internal review and is then discarded. It is not shared with other organization for commercial purposes. Additional information given directly by the visitor (email address, names, mailing address) is discussed below.
Security:
We always use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site. You can feel safe ordering online with AVEN. Any page on our site that handles sensitive information, such as your credit card number, is securely encrypted using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol.
Email Addresses:
At the present time AVEN does not send out promotional emails.
All emails we send will be concerning either orders customers have placed with us, or questions you have contacted AVEN about (from either email, mail, or telephone). No opt-in (or opt-out) permission will be assumed to be required for sending emails to answer questions that have been asked of us, to communicate order status (or other pertinent order information), or to fulfill requests that have been made of us.
Mailing Addresses:
At the present time AVEN does not send out promotional mail on our own.
Associations, Organization, and other clients will, at times, include promotional information for AVEN products in their mailings. Contact the mailer directly if you do not wish to receive mailings from them.
Changes in Policies:
From time to time we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes on our website, in this area, to notify you of these changes. If you are concerned about how your information is used, please check back at our website periodically.
