It’s opening night in San Jose.
The Sharks are back at SAP Center tonight for their first regular-season home game of the 2026-27 season. For Aven, this game feels a little different. You’ll see our logo on the home helmets worn by Macklin Celebrini and the rest of the Sharks, as well as at center ice, as the team’s official home equity credit card partner.
We’re a San Jose area company. The Sharks are our home team, so this partnership makes a lot of sense to us.

Aven was founded in Silicon Valley and is based just a few miles from the Shark Tank. We’ve built our business around a simple idea: Homeowners should get credit for the equity they’ve built in their homes.
Our flagship Aven Home Equity Visa Card combines a home equity line of credit with the convenience of a credit card. It gives homeowners a way to access their home equity while paying less interest than they might with a credit card.
Home equity is still at the center of Aven, but we’ve also grown to provide so much more. We’re building a range of financial products designed to lower borrowing costs and make banking more convenient. That makes this a pretty great time to start our partnership with the Sharks.
The San Jose Sharks are building something new, too.
The team’s young players are part of a group giving fans plenty to be excited about as the team looks toward its next chapter.
We’re excited to support this journey, not just because we’re fans, but because we know what it’s like to build something in San Jose. Aven has grown from a small Silicon Valley startup into a national consumer finance company. The Sharks are building around a new generation of players and fans, becoming a national powerhouse in its own right.
Being a local company means more than just having an office here.
Aven will support Sharks Foundation programs focused on youth education, youth wellness and hockey in San Jose and across the Bay Area. You’ll also catch us year-round at Sharks Ice at San Jose.
We’re proud to be part of a community that has supported Aven from the beginning. Supporting local programs and the next generation of Bay Area families and homeowners is one way we can give something back.
For us, this partnership is more than seeing the Aven logo on a helmet or arena. It’s about being part of the place we call home. We’re looking forward to a new season of Sharks hockey and to being there with our neighbors, employees, customers and fellow fans.
